President's Corner Daren Nigsarian Here at this site, I look forward to sharing with my fellow homeowners those topical concerns and issues that affect us all.  I have served on the Board of Directors for about 12 years, and have had the privilege of serving as president for about the past eight years.  I have a great deal of pride in our neighborhood and a passion for its continued evolution as one of the premier neighborhoods in the local area.  My goal has always been to foster a unique identity for La Habra Crest, so that realtors and those seeking prime real-estate regard La Habra Crest as one of the best neighborhoods in the local metropolitan area. February, 2010 Happy New Year to all homeowners.  Our association begins 2010 in excellent shape.  By managing costs, LHCC continues to maintain prudent financial reserves.  Despite the shaky economy, we foresee no dues increases in the future, and we plan on making some landscaping improvements to the parks.  We have a few longstanding accounts in-arrears, and these properties are posing a challenge to the board; it is only fair that these accounts be reconciled, even if legal action is required.  The board has resolved to take whatever action is necessary. I'm delighted with the plans for our second annual St. Patrick's Day cocktail party, and I am very hopeful that all homeowners can join us at Treasurer Tom Sarnecki's house on March 13th.  This casual get-together is what distinguishes our association, and fosters the bonds of friendship and community that makes LHC so much more than just a footnote on our deeds.  Keep checking "Latest News" for updates, and on behalf of the Board, we hope you have a great 2010.   --Daren Nigsarian WWW.DNIGSARIAN.COM
